Republic Day Celebration at Guru Nanak Dev Dental College, Sunam

The Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Guru Nanak Dev Dental College and Research Institute, Sunam. The flag unfurling ceremony was held on the college campus in the morning. Advocate Ashok Bansal, Managing Director of the College, unfurled the flag, accompanied by Dr. Rajinder Bansal, Dr. Basu SK, Dr. Puneet Goyal, Dr. Sachin Jindal and other faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff, including Mr. Surinder Mohan (Administrative Officer, General) and Mr. Ishwinder Singh (Administrative Officer, Academic). After the flag unfurling ceremony, Advocate Ashok Bansal spoke about the importance of Republic Day and urged the students to contribute to the development of the nation. The students also presented a cultural program, including patriotic songs, dances, and skits, which instilled a sense of patriotism among the students.

The Republic Day is celebrated on 26 January, and it emphasizes the constitutional foundation and values that define the nation's identity. It symbolizes the country's aspirations and its role as the nurturer of democracy. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950, marking the transition of India to a republic governed by a democratic constitution.

GNDDC has once again achieved a great feat by getting excellent results in the BDS final year

Guru Nanak Dev Dental College Sunam has once again achieved a great feat by getting excellent results in the BDS final year May-June 2023 examination. Three of its students have secured distinction in the examination.

Daisy got distinction in Oral Medicine and Periodontics, Gagandeep Sharma in Oral Surgery, and Husanhreet Kaur in Periodontics and Oral Surgery.

The college principal, Dr. Sanjeev Jain, congratulated the students on their success and said that it is a matter of great pride for the college. He said that the students have worked hard and their success is a testament to their dedication and hard work. He also said that the college is committed to providing quality education to its students and will continue to do so in the future.

The students who got distinction expressed their happiness and thanked the college management and faculty for their support. They said that they are proud to be a part of Guru Nanak Dev Dental College Sunam and will continue to work hard to achieve their goals.

The college management said that they are happy with the results and are confident that the students will continue to do well in their future endeavors. After the flag hoisting ceremony, Advocate Ashok Bansal spoke about the importance

of Independence Day and urged the students to become patriots and contribute to the

development of the nation. He also talked about the sacrifices made by the freedom

fighters for India's independence.

The students of the college also presented a cultural programme on the occasion. The event included patriotic songs, dances and skits. The event was a huge success and instilled a sense of patriotism among the students.

Free Dental Checkup Camp Organized at Sri Nanaksar Gurudwara, Cheema Mandi.

We recently organized a free Dental Check-up and Treatment Camp at Sri Nanaksar Gurudwara, Cheema Mandi.

We had the pleasure of checking in a total of 150 patients and providing them with top-notch dental care using proper procedures. The best part, all our patients were not only satisfied but also appreciated our dedicated efforts!

Inauguration of Advanced Dental Implant Clinic

Under the leadership of Sh. Aman Arora, Cabinet Minister, Managing Director, and Mrs. Radhika Arora, Chairperson. Sh. Ashok Bansal, Director and Dr. Ashwarya Sharma, Director inaugurated the 2nd unit of the Advanced Dental Implant Centre. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology and will provide the best available treatment to patients. It will also give students the opportunity to learn more about advanced dentistry. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Parul Jain, Dr. Manu Bansal, Dr. Varinder Goyal, Dr. Rajinder Bansal, Dr. Gaurav Gupta and other respected guests.
